FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What hours are available for therapy?

We are open Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, and Friday 8:00AM - 3:00pm.

Where are your services provided?

We provide services onsite at our clinic and in daycares and home environments. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our office administrator at admin@greatergoodtherapy.com.

What do I do if I need to cancel an appointment?

Contact your child’s therapist as soon as possible and inform them of the reason for the cancellation so the appointment can be rescheduled. You will be provided a copy of our attendance policy at intake for services.

Can I obtain a copy of my child’s records & progress?

Yes! Inform your child’s therapist you would like a copy or contact our office administrator at admin@greatergoodtherapy.com.

How often will my child have therapy appointments and how long will they be receiving therapy?

Following your child's initial evaluation, your therapist will discuss the plan for your child’s treatment. The frequency and duration of services will be determined based on your child’s needs. Each child has different needs and their progress varies. The length of time in therapy is unknown and contingent upon patient progression.

What insurance plans are accepted?

Greater Good Therapy Company accepts insurance reimbursement from the following companies. If your insurance plan changes during treatment, please inform our office administrator or your child’s therapist to ensure we have the correct information on file:

  1. Blue Cross/Blue Shield of SC including State Health Plan

  2. All Medicaid MCOs including: Fee For Service, Select Health, Absolute Total Care, and BlueChoice Health Plan of SC

  3. Baby Net/First Steps

  4. Private Pay

What is the “on call” list?

The “on call” list is for patients who currently do not have a permanent spot on our schedule. Families can call to check for appointment availability. Therapists may also contact you as availability opens up.

What is a No Call/No Show?

No call/No show cancellations should be avoided. A No call/No show is when a family does not show up for therapy and has not called to cancel or has canceled 3 hours before scheduled treatment time. After 3 cancellations or No call/ No shows, over a 3-month period, your child may lose their scheduled treatment spot, be discharged from therapeutic services and may be placed on the “on-call” list.
